Mercado Monterrey is owned by Ruben Martinez who owns several grocery stores in
the Metroplex specializing in Mexican-style cooked meats and baked goods.
Mr. Martinez selected the d/b constructors’ construction team
to design and build his first new facility located at 2000 East Pioneer Parkway
in Arlington, Texas. The new facility consists of 13,540 square feet of grocery
and 8,640 square feet of unfinished tenant lease space.
The building is constructed of load-bearing exposed aggregate
concrete tilt panels, structural steel roof structure with a white .045 TPO roof
system, insulated glass storefront, recessed truck dock and a decorative metal
front canopy.
The
interior finishes include quarry and vinyl composition floor tile, spiral access
stairs, multicolored painted walls, and extensive custom plastic laminated
millwork.
