As
a result of increased volume in tanning supply sales since 2002 when the d/b
constructors’ team was selected to build Salon Support’s initial 20,250 square
foot sales/distribution facility our team was requested to build an additional
31,480 square foot distribution facility within the same industrial park in
Benbrook, Texas.
This new facility was built to provide a larger warehouse and
packaging area and a new sales, display and service area for tanning beds.
The
building is a concrete tilt panel structure with a steel long bay roof structure
with an insulated long life galvalume standing seam roof system. There are ten
recessed truck docks of which nine are equipped with mechanical dock levelers
and shelters. The building and site have been designed so that the facility can
be expanded an additional 42,250 square feet for future business growth.
Through the team design/build method we were able to meet all
of the owner’s building requirements, schedule and construction budget for a
successful project
