In
1991 Gary Bolander, the owner of Man’s Best Friend, selected d/b constructors’
construction team to design and convert an existing 8,580 square foot abandoned
garden sales building in Grand Prairie to a dog training, grooming and boarding
facility.
Since the initial project, d/b constructors has continued to
be Man’s Best Friend’s design and build team builder, building their new
facilities in North Richland Hills, Houston and Carrollton, Texas.
The latest facility shown above was built in Carrollton and
the exterior is constructed of brick with a cantilevered EIFS facia with
recessed signage. The interior space consists of sales and display area,
offices, consulting office, training rooms, restrooms, janitorial room, kennel
boarding area and dog grooming
The latest facility, shown above, was built in Houston, Texas
in 2003, and is the second one in the Houston area.
This
building consists of 11,226 square feet and is constructed of a pre-engineered
structure with a standing seam metal roof and exterior colored split-faced
masonry with a cantilevered EIFS (exterior insulation foam system) facing.
The interior space consists of sales and display, office,
consulting offices, training rooms, restrooms, janitorial room, break room,
storage, bathing and grooming, and an air-conditioned kennel for boarding over
100 dogs
