Stitch N’ Design located in Garland, Texas is a very
specialized business engaged in the design and manufacturing of custom school
cheerleader uniforms and custom made formal dresses. The owner, Mrs. Hong Lee,
and the project architect, John Campbell Wright Architects, selected d/b
constructors inc. as the builder for their new 27,840 square foot facility as a
result of our value engineering cost saving alternates to bring the project into
budget needs. The dock high facility consisted of nicely furnished
administration offices and foyer, with fully air conditioned manufacturing area,
warehouse, shipping and receiving.
The building structure is a pre-engineered system with a
standing seam insulated metal roof, the exterior walls are white textured
concrete tilt panel with recessed black panel reveals.
The interior finishes include marble tile, carpet and vinyl
tile flooring, texture painted walls, lay-in suspended acoustical tile ceilings,
pre-finished solid core wood doors with pre-finished architectural metal door
frames.
